Lessons from College GameDay

Yesterday, everyone's favorite ESPN crew came to East Lansing to do college football best pre-game show called College GameDay. While, it was all fun and games, I learned a few things.
Security will check your signs: The reason make signs is to get on tv which it is great, but there is one problem; millions of people watch the show and it have as family friendly as it can get. So clever, but offensive signs are gone, no matter what.
You will get a pat down: You know the drill by now in large public events, security will be tight. Ever since a group of guys did not like the idea of having to do things they might be uncomfortable doing to get by in America.
There are actual quite moments: I blame this one on ESPN's greediness. There is no way to maintain high levels of energy for 3 hours straight from 9 in the morning to noon. Also since it is on college campuses most of the time, it hard to get college students up early on Saturdays, in additional to having some energy for a night game.
Weirdness but for a good reason: If you watch College Gameday you see Washington State University flags flying and it is for a good reason. They want Game Day to come to Pullman, WA to their campus and tried to show them a good time. Others like Kansas State University fans just want to be on tv. Either way, its cool they willing to travel to be on tv.
Lee Corso: Everyone loves this man. He entertains people and make people either go home happy or pissed. Just like what he did yesterday but I am happy MSU won last night!

I love college football and it is fun. Do you want to know I what I am thinking half the time? Follow me on twitter @decincesryan.
